Another great cohort of learners on our YMCA Level 3 Reformer Group and One-to-One Qualification have completed the practical element of the course.
It’s now onto the next stage of the qualification: analysing 30 exercises, completing the LAR, coursework, practical assessment and case studies.
The interest in teaching Reformer continues to grow.

More health clubs and leisure operators are adding dedicated Reformer studios, and we’re also seeing hotels, golf clubs and racquet clubs investing in Reformer as part of their health and wellbeing offering.
We’re developing new sports-specific Reformer training for golf, tennis and padel as we see the industry continuing to evolve in this direction.
After the pandemic, it was difficult to get Group Exercise classes back to where they had been, and in some areas the recovery was slow. Looking at where we are now, it’s exciting to see more people than ever taking part in group exercise.
The demand for high-quality classes and qualified instructors continues to grow, making this a really positive time for our industry.
I’m looking forward to seeing this group progress through the next stage of their qualification and begin launching Reformer classes in their own communities.
