What Is the Difference Between Our Level 3 Reformer Qualification and Fitness Pilates Reformer Certification?
As Reformer Pilates continues to grow rapidly across the UK, more instructors are asking the same question:
What is the difference between the YMCA Level 3 Reformer qualification and the Fitness Pilates Reformer Certification?
At Choreographytogo Education, we offer two Reformer training pathways, both designed to support instructors who want to teach safe, effective and professional Reformer sessions.
Both courses are excellent, but they are designed for slightly different routes, teaching goals and qualification needs.
Here is a clear breakdown to help you choose the right pathway for you.
YMCA Level 3 Certificate in Instructing Studio Reformer: Groups
The YMCA Level 3 Certificate in Instructing Studio Reformer: Groups is a formal regulated qualification developed by YMCA Awards to meet the growing demand for qualified Reformer instructors working in group settings.
This qualification is ideal if you want a recognised Level 3 Reformer qualification and are looking to teach group Reformer classes in studios, clubs or fitness facilities.
Who Is the Level 3 Reformer Qualification For?
This qualification is designed for instructors who already hold the Level 3 Pilates Matwork Diploma.
If you do not currently hold Level 3 Pilates Matwork, we also offer a package combining the Active IQ Level 3 Pilates Mat Diploma with the YMCA Level 3 Reformer Certificate.
Learners complete the Matwork Diploma first before progressing on to Reformer.
This pathway is ideal for instructors who want a formal qualification route and a clear professional progression from mat-based Pilates to Reformer teaching.
What Will You Learn on the Level 3 Reformer Qualification?
By completing this qualification, you will be able to plan, deliver and evaluate safe and effective group Reformer sessions.
The course covers:
