A Christmas Candlelight Fitness Pilates Experience
David Ross Sports Village – Saturday
On Saturday, our Christmas Candlelight Fitness Pilates class at David Ross Sports Village offered exactly that — a chance to pause, breathe, and move with intention during one of the busiest times of the year.

The studio was softly lit with tea lights, instantly creating a calm, grounding atmosphere. From the moment the lights dimmed, the focus naturally shifted inward.
This Fitness Pilates session began with gentle mobility and balance work, before flowing into slow, controlled Fitness Pilates sequences. This wasn’t about rushing through repetitions or chasing intensity; it was about controlled strength, mindful movement, and being fully present in the body.
The class blended classic Fitness Pilates principles with deliberate, purposeful strength work. Each movement was guided with care, allowing time to explore alignment, stability, and control. We finished with guided meditation, breathwork, and relaxation, leaving everyone feeling relaxed, restored, and refreshed — a truly lovely way to end the session.
December can often feel like one big rush to get everything finished. This class was designed to do the opposite: to support the nervous system, ease tension, and restore energy, while still delivering a full-body workout that left participants feeling strong, centred, and uplifted.
These monthly masterclass sessions are about creating an experience, not just a class — an opportunity to reconnect with your body, prioritise wellbeing, and finish the week feeling calmer and more aligned than when you arrived. Over recent months I’ve also presented two Retro Aerobics sessions and a Step Masterclass, all of which have been incredibly popular.
Looking ahead to 2026, I’ve got more monthly masterclasses planned alongside new fitness and wellness experiences, designed to bring variety, creativity, and inspiration to your movement practice.
