In order to sign up for the level 3 Assessor Qualification please make sure you have the following in place before you enrol:

* All trainee assessor must be 19+

* All trainee assessors need to be working with (either as a voluntary role or working for as a tutor) with a training provider or further education college.

* All trainee assessors need to have a mentor assigned who is already a qualified assessor in the qualification that the trainee assessor wishes to be assessed in, who will allow the trainee assessor to shadow assessments which will be filmed and also countersign assessments which the trainee is using for their own assessment.

* The trainee assessor will need to be working with live students and have access to their assessment paperwork as well as live assessments.

* The trainee assessor will be required to film their formative assessments ( a min of 2 with 2 different learners) which will be countersigned by their mentor who is a qualified assessor and have written consent from everyone who is included in the filming including the learners they are assessing, all participants and their counter sign assessor.

* The trainee assessor will be required to film their summative assessments ( a min of 2 with 2 different learners) and have written consent from everyone who is included in the filming including the learners they are assessing, all participants and their counter sign assessor

You will be working with your official tutor and assessor at C2GO – Kelly Reed on a 1-2-1 basis to complete all aspects of this qualification but Kelly will need to liaise with your mentor assessor to discuss your progress within the workplace

This is a blended learning course with home study, preparation and revision along with tutor and centre support. Practice and session planning is required to be carried out in your own time in between the training days and leading up to assessment.

You will need to find a face to face course running  that you hold a qualification which you can shadow the assessor. We will need to confirm  with the Training Provider and Assessor  you are able to shadow a course with them.

About this Qualification
This qualification is intended for those who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).

Assessment
Submission of a portfolio of evidence with a video recorded practical assessment submitted to your assessor within a 6 month period.

Learner will need to complete 2x learner assessments as part of their Portfolio.
