    From Fitness Pilates to Hot Fitness Pilates: Jo’s Training Journey

    There is something really special about watching teachers grow, evolve and continue to invest in their craft — and Jo’s journey is a perfect example of that.

    Jo first trained with us on the Fitness Pilates training course, successfully qualifying and going on to teach strong, accessible and thoughtful Pilates-based classes. But she didn’t stop there. In 2025, Jo returned to complete the Hot Fitness Pilates Certification, stepping back into the role of student and fully immersing herself in the experience.

    The Power of Being a Student Again

    Reflecting on her training day, Jo shared how powerful it felt to be learning, refining and feeling the work in her own body:

    “Yesterday was part of my Hot Fitness Pilates qualification training — learning, refining and fully feeling the work in my own body. There’s something really powerful about being a student again.”

    This mindset is exactly what makes outstanding instructors. Continuing education keeps teachers curious, sharp and evolving — not just repeating what they already know, but deepening their understanding of movement, cueing and client experience.

    Why Ongoing Training Matters

    Jo spoke beautifully about how training directly enhances her coaching:

    “Training keeps me curious, sharp and constantly improving as a coach — and I love bringing that learning straight back to my clients.”

    This is at the heart of everything we do. Our certifications are designed so teachers don’t just learn content, but experience it in their own bodies first — understanding how it feels, how it heals, and how it can be adapted for different bodies and needs.

    Experiencing Infrared Heat in Pilates

    One of the biggest takeaways from Jo’s Hot Fitness Pilates training was the impact of infrared heat on movement and recovery:

    “The infrared heat was incredible. That deep, gentle warmth supports healing, increases circulation and helps muscles and joints move more freely — especially when you’re carrying niggles or recovering from injury.”

    Infrared heat allows the body to work hard while still feeling supported and cared for. It enhances mobility, encourages deeper movement patterns and creates an environment where strength and mindfulness can coexist beautifully.

    Strong, Mindful Movement Meets Healing Warmth

    Jo described the training as the perfect blend:

    “Strong, mindful movement + healing warmth = such a good combination.”

    Hot Fitness Pilates isn’t about intensity for the sake of it. It’s about intelligent programming, precise teaching and creating a safe, effective and nourishing experience for clients — whether they’re managing injuries, rebuilding strength or simply wanting to feel better in their bodies.

    Working One-to-One and Refining the Craft

    During her certification, Jo also worked closely one-to-one, refining technique, teaching skills and understanding how to deliver Hot Fitness Pilates confidently and professionally. This hands-on approach ensures every instructor leaves not just qualified, but truly prepared.

    A Brilliant Example of Instructor Growth

    Jo’s journey from Fitness Pilates graduate to Hot Fitness Pilates certified teacher is a brilliant reminder that the best instructors never stop learning. Her commitment to development, curiosity and quality is exactly why her clients benefit so much from her classes.
