    WHAT IS Wall Pilates?

#wallpilates is a type of Pilates workout that incorporates the use of a wall for support and resistance. In Wall Pilates, the wall is used as a prop to help participants stabilise and align their bodies while performing various Pilates exercises.

Some common exercises in Wall Pilates include:

    1. Wall Squats: Participants stand with their back against the wall and slowly squat down, using the wall for support.

    2. Wall Roll Downs: Participants stand with their back against the wall and slowly roll down through their spine, using the wall for support.

    3. Wall Push-Ups: Participants stand facing the wall and place their hands on the wall at shoulder height. They then perform a push-up motion by bending their elbows and lowering their chest towards the wall.

    4. Wall Planks: Participants place their hands on the wall at shoulder height and walk their feet back into a plank position, with their body in a straight line.

    5. Wall Angels: Participants stand with their back against the wall and slowly raise and lower their arms, keeping their elbows and wrists in contact with the wall.

Wall Pilates can be a great way to increase core strength, improve posture, and work on stability and alignment. It is a low-impact workout that can be adapted for different fitness levels and can be done at home or in a studio with minimal equipment.
