    Laura’s Fitness Pilates Success Story: Supporting Mobility & Wellbeing for Older Adults

    We absolutely love seeing our Fitness Pilates teachers take their training out into the real world and make such a positive impact in their communities.

    A huge congratulations to Laura, who has recently completed her Fitness Pilates Standing & Seated Certification and has already put her new qualification to amazing use.

    Laura shared this wonderful update after delivering a seated and standing Fitness Pilates session at a retirement village.

    “Put my latest certificate to good use yesterday.
    Seated & Standing Fitness Pilates.
    I had the pleasure of spending a special morning at a wonderful retirement village.”

    The session included breathwork, mobility exercises, chair Pilates, standing movements, stretching and finished with a lovely meditation.

    This is exactly what Fitness Pilates is all about: accessible, inclusive, confidence-building movement that can be adapted for different ages, abilities and environments.

    Laura went on to say:

    “I so enjoyed it. I listened to some amazing stories and have fallen a little in love with these wonderful people!”

    She was even invited back for Prosecco, and is already planning the next session with props. One of the residents, Neil, is apparently planning to bring his dumbbells next time, which we absolutely love.
