    REFLECTING On 2019 – Just before you put together your new yearsresolutions here are a few things to consider…………..

     

    1: What are you most proud of in 2018?

    Give yourself a MASSIVE pat on the back. You definitely did some great things this year. Think back to all your accomplishments and wins this year and focus in on the one you’re most proud of.

    What is it about that moment that’s making you light up and think wow I did that!

    This is a great way to get you In a great mood for resolutions.

     

    2: When did you feel most creative?

    Us fitness folks are definitely creative types – we create playlists, class content, exercises, choreography, business ideas etc so what did you do this year that really got those creative juices flowing?

    What makes you feel creative?  Creativity can help you come up with fresh ideas, open up your mind, and inspire you to learn.

    Figuring out what sparks your imagination and creativity can help you determine what you’re passionate and excited about, so you can add more of that good stuff  in 2019.

    Do you feel creative after courses, seminars, podcasts, workouts, walking the dog, doing Yoga…… When you felt really creative what were you doing?

     

    3: Was there a point at which you felt stuck?

    Feeling stuck can be very scary. It’s important to remember that that weall feel a bit stuck every once in a while—with our job, teaching, career, relationships, friendships or with life in general.

    Being stuck is a good sign its time to change something in your life. 

    Have those conversations and make some changes.

     

    4: Did you make time for yourself this year?

    No matter how full-on and fast life gets, its important to always, always give yourself the time and space to relax and recoup and regenerate Self-care is just as important to your goals as hustling is.

    If you totally failed at caring for yourself this year, promise yourself right now that you’ll do a better job in 2019. Set aside a few minutes everyday that are entirely, purely, and perfectly for yourself.

    Do something…… anything, to give your mind a break and recharge.

     

    5: Who inspired you in 2018?

     I KNOW you have heard this before….

    “You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with”?  

    Remember that goes for who you are reading, watching and consuming online as well.

    Watching, reading and filling your mind with people and stuff  thattriggers you, changes your mood and your outlook and you begin to forget your own goals and aspirations.

    Think of one person you met this year that got you glowing and give them a call, meet for coffee, go to a seminar to see them and connect with more people who do the same for you.

     

    5: How have you changed this year?

    YES YES YES of course you have we ALL have.

    We are different now, we have evolved and changed.

    You are a  different version of yourself today than you were at this point last year. 

    You want different things. New goals, new directions we dont have to stay as that same person.

    Let’s embrace the new. Step into your new power and own It!

     

     

    6: Who do you want to be by the end of 2019?

    The biggest of the big questions. If you could see a quick clip of what your life may be like at the end of 2019, what would absolutely thrill you?

    Start working toward that. Reverse engineer what you need to do to get there.

    Your dreams are more in reach than you think. Changing habits or routines can feel a lot more manageable if you take it one step at a time, day by day, Lastly, whatever you do, make goals that are important to you, not to somebody else. You’re in charge of your own future.

    There is so much to go at in 2019 – Whatever you want to create in your teaching, your fitness business, your life …it’s all there.

    Taking some time this  Christmas to reflect and work out what you REALLY REALLY want is exciting 🙂
