It’s every self employed FitPros nightmare.

An injury and a bad one at that.

Helen has been instructing in Lowestoft for over 15 years.
She is active on the presenting circuit and is well known all
over the UK for a her vibrant personality and energy.

Earlier this year she had a terrible accident that nearly saw her leave the industry.

After suffering a serious neck injury Helen felt at her lowest…
made to rest in her chair with only Lionel the cat and Facebook for company as she had limited movement.
She wasn’t even able to lie in bed.
For someone so active and teaching so many community classes
it was devastating.

She HAD to get positive and look after herself and dig deep to
pull her self out of this terrible situation.

It’s such a worry when you can’t teach your classes, it was hard to get cover and she worried about her business and what was going to happen. The Dr’s didn’t know how long it would take for her neck to mend – if at all.

It was heart breaking and depressing for Helen.
After only a few months Helen has made sure, through eating right and support from all of her members and instructor friends around the world, that she has made a speedy recovery and is back into the swing of things teaching all of her classes and even taking on new Kick Start Coaches – Sarah Jane Smith and Lisa Lockwood.
Helen has coached some of KSFL’s biggest losers and now she is back on her game I am sure there will be many more to come.
We are very proud to have Helen as part of our KSFL team, she is a very pro active and supportive to everyone always going the EXTRA MILE for her clients and fellow Franchisees.
