    Sport England now offering funding for Rachel Holmes’ The Brain Fit Workout™

    Rachel Holmes, Fitness Presenter of over 30 years, recognised that intense workouts are not always the way to relieve stress and saw a gap in the fitness market for a more relaxing and meditation based class.

    The BrainFit Workout™ is a 45 minute movement and meditation workout. 30 Minutes of mindful movement and breathing followed by a 15 minute guided meditation section.
    Adopting a mindful approach to Group Exercise coupled with a guided meditation is so refreshing, revitalising and invigorating. The workout is simple and unique bringing a fresh look at working out to the UK.

    The Brain Fit Workout™ Training is endorsed by NASM – National academy of Sports Medicine and Choreographytogo is accredited with the new EMDAcademy who are linked to Sport England.
    Bursaries are now available for up to £100 to train to teach the new workout.

    Rachel believes the workout will grow further into the workplace and possible even schools helping mental health and positivity: “Regular mindfulness practice, through simple repetitive movement, affirmations and meditation, is an effective treatment for stress, worry, lack of focus, anxiety, and well being. It leads to peace of mind, clarity, greater focus and creativity and a happier life.”

    Training is now well underway with the programme rolling out throughout the rest of the UK this coming year. This is an new exciting project that Rachel hopes will provide a more unique and relaxing experience in fitness clubs and classes all over the UK.
