Important information to know before booking
The Level 3 Pilates Mat qualification is a highly respected industry standard, and preparation is key to getting the most from the course.
Before attending, you should know:
- You must be attending Pilates classes regularly and be familiar with the exercises
- Homework and preparation are required before the course begins
- Attendance at all three live training days is compulsory
- You will sit an exam during the course to gain your certification
Both Kelly and I cannot stress enough how important it is to arrive prepared. Make sure you have:
- Watched the Level 3 online videos
- Read the course manual thoroughly
- Attended as many Pilates classes as possible
When you prepare properly, you’ll enjoy the experience, feel confident in the content, and truly get the most out of this exceptional qualification.

- You do not need any prior fitness qualifications to enrol
What does the course entail?
Portfolio (LAP)
After completing the three live training days, you will:
- Prepare a case study on one participant
- Create plans and progressions
- PAR-Q your group and document how you progress them
This is a logical, straightforward process — and we guide you through it step by step.
You can even use an existing class you already teach, as long as the details are completed correctly.
Practical assessment
- Film yourself teaching a full 45-minute Pilates session
- Submit the video for assessment

- Advanced progressions and sequencing
- Postural assessment and movement screening
